Happy New Year!
My resolution (revolution?) is to live my politics. Sure, I’ve been enamoured with this sexy technology for years, thinking someday I might even be able to get one of these Tesla’s. Then I realized the time is now. I want to meaningfully invest in the future - putting my money where I hope others will as well, into an environmentally cleaner future. What this company has done is revolutionary in the car industry and, in terms of smart technology.
So while I love having my 90 year old home, I have a large solar array on my roof and have switched out my water heater and furnace to all electric. I also added AC because this planet is heating up. It is the reality.
I am also re-committing to being more active in local politics where I can really affect change. I’ll assemble and lead several groups on important issues that have held our city back - by pushing forward. While I have enjoyed working hard in real estate and will continue to do so, the time is nigh for our lovely town to step into a smarter future and retire those Good Old Boys (and girls) that have stopped progress.
My hope is you will join with me, contributing your time, smarts and money if need be to change our future.
